Pool Scouts of the Mid-South can help open your pool back up after the winter so that it is safe for you and your family all summer long. Our efficient and effective pool opening services deliver timely and complete preparation for your pool, so you don\u2019t lose any time in the sun.\u00a0 Leave the heavy lifting and the dirty work to our technicians, they\u2019ll get your pool in tip-top shape, so your pool is ready when you are!<\/span><span class=\"m_-2898026555444878651eop\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"m_-2898026555444878651paragraph\"><span class=\"m_-2898026555444878651normaltextrun\"><b>POOL OPENING SERVICE<\/b><\/span><span class=\"m_-2898026555444878651eop\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"m_-2898026555444878651paragraph\"><span class=\"m_-2898026555444878651normaltextrun\">Our opening service visit will be done by 2 professionally trained technicians who will arrive in uniform and in a Pool Scouts vehicle. In that time, they will do the following:<\/span><span class=\"m_-2898026555444878651eop\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-160594\" src=\"https:\/\/poolscouts.com\/mid-south\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/2022\/12\/PoolScoutsAugust2021-27.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"311\" height=\"466\" srcset=\"https:\/\/poolscouts.com\/mid-south\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/2022\/12\/PoolScoutsAugust2021-27.jpg 500w, https:\/\/poolscouts.com\/mid-south\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/2022\/12\/PoolScoutsAugust2021-27-200x300.jpg 200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 311px) 100vw, 311px\" \/>Remove cover and prepare for storage<\/li>\n<li><span class=\"m_-2898026555444878651normaltextrun\">Remove plugs and prep pool lines<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Blow off pool deck area and equipment pad<\/li>\n<li>Examine pool shell for any visible damage, cracks or tears<\/li>\n<li>Re-Install and examine skimmer baskets<\/li>\n<li>Re-install and examine deck equipment (ladders, handrails, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Brush and clean waterline tile when applicable<\/li>\n<li>Skim to remove leaves and debris from the pool when applicable<\/li>\n<li>Start and prime the pool pump<\/li>\n<li>Inspect the filtration system (filter cleanings are not included in the opening service).<\/li>\n<li>Balance pool water chemistry when applicable (chemicals are an additional cost)<span class=\"m_-2898026555444878651eop\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>\n<p class=\"m_-2898026555444878651paragraph\"><span class=\"m_-2898026555444878651normaltextrun\">Please be aware a full cleaning is NOT included in the opening service. Some pools will require Green Clean Services or a 1-time Cleaning\/Follow up after opening to get the pool \u201cswim ready\u201d. The office will contact you with details on follow-up appointments, repairs and specialty services if they are needed after the opening is complete.\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"m_-2898026555444878651eop\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<div>\n<p class=\"m_-2898026555444878651paragraph\"><span class=\"m_-2898026555444878651normaltextrun\"><b><u>Additional Opening Service Add Ons!<\/u><\/b><\/span><span class=\"m_-2898026555444878651eop\">\u00a0<\/span><u><\/u><u><\/u><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"m_-2898026555444878651paragraph\"><u><\/u><span class=\"m_-2898026555444878651normaltextrun\">If your cover is full of water and debris, we suggest a 1-time winter service before opening service to ensure none of that is deposited into the pool. Contact the office to schedule that a few days in advance before service.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"m_-2898026555444878651paragraph\">If you need assistance with storing your cover, we would be glad to add that onto your opening service for an additional cost.<\/li>\n<li class=\"m_-2898026555444878651paragraph\">Add a cartridge filter cleaning to your opening service for a discounted rate!
