Pool Scouts offer end of the season Pool Closing Service to ensure your pool and pool equipment is properly prepped for the off season months. Our pool closing service includes an extensive checklist we use to ensure your pool is properly stored for the winter.

  • Removing all leaves and debris from the pool
  • Vacuuming the pool
  • Backwashing the filter system
  • Lowering water to the appropriate level
  • Testing water and adding wintering chemicals as needed
  • Draining pump and heater
  • Plugging returns and skimmers
  • Removing and storing deck equipment (ladders and handrails, etc.)
  • Inspecting and installing the winter cover
  • Blowing off pool deck area and equipment pad
