Pool Scouts owners Steve and Michelle in front of Pool Scouts van Steve and Michelle Stern, owners and operators of Pool Scouts of North Dallas & Park Cities, are excited to bring the best pool care to their neighbors in the Dallas community.

When not making pools sparkle, Steve and Michelle love listening to live local music. In 2007, they met at the (now departed) Gypsy Tea Room in Deep Ellum. They married in 2009 and were blessed with a daughter in 2012 who is the light of their lives. Their family is rounded out with two “doodle” dogs, Gavin and Opie. They also enjoy attending local events like the Park Cities Independence Day Parade and the North Texas Irish Festival, and traveling to visit US National Parks. Their daughter loves collecting patches as a Junior Ranger with every new park they explore.

Professional Background

Steve and Michelle are both career marketers. Steve has worked with many franchises throughout the years, supporting franchisee owners with local ad campaigns and brand development. He has been drawn to franchise ownership for years. It was his passion for helping franchise business owners develop their local presence that ultimately led them to Pool Scouts. Michelle is a Navy veteran who came to Texas, via active duty at Naval Air Station Corpus Christi, after graduating from University of Notre Dame. From there, she went to grad school at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth and worked corporate stints with Sabre in strategic planning and Match.com’s International team. Her latest work has focused in digital product management, branding and consumer user experience.
