At Pool Scouts, efficiency is important and we see the value in saving time and money by closing your pool when not in use. But you have to do it the right way. There’s a process to follow in order to close the pool in a way that keeps it primed and ready for the summer. Our professional open and closing services will save you time and ensure a proper start or finish of the season.
What are the benefits of using a professional pool cleaning service vs. doing it myself?
We bring the chemicals and our expertise in water chemistry to your backyard, so you won’t have to wait in line at a pool store or handle any chemicals yourself! Our Scouts/technicians are fully trained in using our 8-parameter mobile water lab and are equipped with the industry’s best pool cleaning equipment. We provide you with real time notifications when we are headed to your house and when your service is complete. Best of all, our system records your chemistry results, dosing amounts and even includes before and after pictures. We then combine everything into an easy-to-read report. How much does it cost?
Most pools cost around $75 per week to service under a weekly service plan. You can find pricing for other schedules and/or one-off services by filling out the “Request a Quote” form or giving us a call.
Are you using dangerous chemicals?
Maintaining a pool necessarily requires the use of chemicals, which, if handled improperly, can pose a safety hazard. It’s best to have a trained Scout to safely handle them and ensure they work as intended. Our professional training ensures that every Scout understands how to measure and administer the precise timing and number of chemical treatments required for each specific pool.

Meet the Team
Pool Scouts of Boise owner, Matt Hollis, was born and raised in California and has been around pools his whole life. After graduating from Sonoma State University, Matt moved to Idaho, where he worked as a general manager in the corporate restaurant industry for over 15 years. This strong management skill set Matt gained over the years was perfect for the transition into business ownership. Matt was excited to join the Pool Scouts family for the family-like culture it provided, and for the opportunity to provide a service that wasn’t highly prevalent in his community. When not providing excellent pool care, Matt enjoys spending time with his kids Leah and Brody. Some of his favorite family activities include coaching his daughter’s softball team and traveling across the western US.
