Pool Scouts of McKinney and Northeast DFW is proud to be partners with the following organizations.
Pool Scouts is a proud sponsor of the 2025 Charity Pickleball Tournament in McKinney, supporting the Community Garden Kitchen to help Smash Hunger and fight food insecurity in our community.
Pool Scouts is proud to be partnered with Allen Fairview Chamber of Commerce, a non-profit association that serves businesses in Allen and Collin County. We are excited to join “TML” Tuesday Morning’s Live each Tuesday morning at Fairview Town Center. We’ve met lots of great partners there, and the chamber partners have been a wonderful help to us. We’ve enjoyed outings to the Allen American’s hockey games, and even receptions at TopGolf. We also enjoy going to the events at the Allen Events Center. When we aren’t attending chamber events, we often support chamber members, such as with regular visits to Bigby Coffee, and more visits than we care to admit to Allen Premium Outlets.
Pool Scouts owner John Breton performed the ribbon cutting with the Allen Fairview Chamber of Commerce.
Prosper Chamber of Commerce, a partner of Pool Scouts, helps build a stronger economy and business community in the Prosper area. It’s a pleasure being involved in the Prosper Chamber and joining their bi-weekly “Cultivate” networking event. We enjoy our time and customers in the remarkable city of Prosper. It’s great to see the massive growth there, from the new Gates of Prosper to the new town hall, where one of our prominent customers works. We are pleased to be involved with Gentle Creek Estates community, and it was a blast sponsoring the Windsong Ranch Food and Wine festival last fall.
Enjoy Historic Downtown McKinney, a partner with Pool Scouts of McKinney and Northeast DFW. From festivals to shopping and dining, they have something to offer everyone. We live only a few blocks from the wonderful and vibrant downtown square, where we spend nearly every day. Downtown McKinney is home to a variety of great festivals. Check out the schedule here. We are grateful for the historic local restaurants, shops, music venues and people in our neighborhood!
Our favorite go-to brunch spot is either Layered or The Yard, and when the weather is nice, we like to enjoy a glass of wine with a performance by Crystal and Will at Lonestar Winery. Our church, VLife, is right downtown as well at Church and Davis Streets. We live a wonderful life in downtown McKinney and we can’t imagine living anywhere else.
Pool Scouts of McKinney and Northeast DFW is partnering with Children’s Relief International, which is an organization dedicated to bringing clean drinking water to children in Mozambique, South Asia and Haiti. We were honored to donate a portion of our monthly sales to help raise a well with CRI in Mozambique, Africa. Thank you to those in Texas who traveled to Mozambique to help with the installation. We enjoyed the fundraising event hosted at The Station in downtown McKinney to promote this important cause. It’s great to see the huge positive impact clean water can have in these communities.
Pool Scouts of McKinney and Northeast DFW is a proud member of the McKinney Chamber of Commerce. Just blocks from our house I am quite proud of our local 5 star McKinney Chamber of Commerce. In 2018, our team was honored as “Ambassador Team of the Year” and we were recognized at the Chamber’s Annual meeting at Craig Ranch. Each week we meet for LINK on Wednesday mornings at Gather Downtown.
We have over 1,300 members in the chamber, making it one of the best in the region. I serve as an Ambassador for the chamber and lead a team of volunteer ambassadors to assist with local business growth through ribbon cuttings, educational, social and charity events. They offer great resources and support for our local business community.
Pool Scouts has most recently partnered with the Farmersville Chamber of Commerce. This organization consists of board members, business partners and volunteers working together to create the best environment for successful programs and events in the Farmersville community. Their mission is focused on bringing commerce to the area, and we are proud to stand alongside this organization with a strong focus on bringing success to the community.
One of our newest partnerships is with Hero Nation, whose mission is to raise up and empower people to be their own heroes. Hero Nation is located in McKinney, and provides both one on one and group coaching. Pool Scouts fully stands behind the mission of this amazing organization focused on making a positive impact on people’s lives.
Pool Scouts of McKinney partners with The Art Of Living Beautifully, a local blog in McKinney by Lauren Palmer focused on inspiring women to build their own personal culture and provoking enriched lives. We are happy to support this positive lifestyle blog that can be an encouragement to women in the local community.
