Pool Closing Service in the Mid-South

When summer’s up and everyone’s getting ready for chilly weather, your pool also needs to be properly prepped for the off-season. Failing to do so could impact your pool’s condition and lifespan as harsh climate could cause damage and cracks to its parts. Having certified professionals do the work saves you time, energy, damage costs, and worry. Proper seasonal and regular maintenance is a must to ensure that you enjoy it to the fullest and for the long haul.

You can count on us to take care of closing your pool. Our pool closing service

includes an extensive checklist we use to ensure your pool is properly stored for the winter. Our pool closing service visit will be done by 2 professionally trained technicians who will arrive in uniform and in a Pool Scouts vehicle. They will typically be there for about 1 – 2 hours and complete the closing service in one visit. During that time, they will do the following:

  • Pool technician putting a pool cover on swimming pool for winterTest and balance water
  • Skim the surface and scrub the walls
  • Blow off the pool deck and equipment pad
  • Backwash filter
  • Winterize water features
  • Lower the water level to the bottom of the skimmer
  • Add winterizing chemicals
  • Lubricate multiport valve and pump lid O-ring
  • Blow out all lines
  • Install plug returns and skimmers gizmos
  • Remove ladder and handrails – *only if they are removable*
  • Install the owner’s cover

If you do not have a cover, we can purchase you a tarp and water bag system for an additional cost. We will have to make a separate appointment to come out and measure your pool for proper sizing and waterbag count. Please let us know at least 2 weeks in advance to ensure we can get the cover before your closing.

ADD-ONS TO CLOSING SERVICE

VACUUM – If you are wanting the pool vacuumed the same day before we close your pool, we can add that to your service for an additional cost (price and time frame varies by pool size).

LEAF REMOVAL – If you have a large amount of leaves in the pool, we do offer a leaf removal service for an additional cost. This is an additional 1-hour service where we perform the following:

  • net surface
  • scoop heavy debris
  • vacuum with hammerhead

*Some pools will require multiple visits for leaf removal service. Please contact the office if you are in need of this service so we can schedule accordingly.”
